We are seeking a highly skilled Partner in Commercial Real Estate to join a prestigious international law firm and spearhead the growth of their real-estate team. The firm already have a reputable book of clients, however need a commercial real-estate partner that’s ambitious and entrepreneurial to join the firm and assist in servicing on the commercial side and develop that business further.
As a Partner in Commercial Real Estate, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and leading the commercial real estate practice. You will have the opportunity to build your own team of talented attorneys, leveraging your extensive experience and industry connections to drive business development and secure major mandates in the field. You will be responsible for providing strategic advice, conducting negotiations, and overseeing complex transactions related to the commercial real estate projects already available and new projects moving forward.
- Lead the development and implementation of the firm’s commercial real estate strategy, in alignment with the overall business objectives.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals to expand the firm’s network and drive business growth.
- Originate and manage a portfolio of high-value commercial real estate transactions, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Mentor and develop a team of lawyers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture that promotes professional growth and achievement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and legal developments, providing thought leadership and advising clients accordingly.
- Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Extensive experience (at least 10 years) in commercial real estate law, with a focus on complex transactions, acquisitions, leasing, and development.
- Proven track record of business development and client relationship management, with a demonstrated ability to generate and secure new mandates.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and developing high-performing legal teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
- Deep understanding of global commercial real estate markets, industry dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
- Well-developed business acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional integrity, ethics, and delivering exceptional client service.
