My client are seeking ambitious individuals to work in a challenging but highly rewarding sales role. This role will suit a self-starter – someone with big ambitions, who possesses the determination and resilience to achieve them. Key to success will be effort, commitment and the desire to grow and deliver exceptional service.

A hybrid position of business development and account management, you will be responsible for building a portfolio of high value corporate clients from the ground-up. This begins with sourcing and engaging C-suite decision makers of medium to large businesses across an array of sectors. For each new sales opportunity you initiate, you’ll have the support of those around you to help guide you through the process, enabling you to learn from the people you work best with and putting you in control of your development.

They will help you learn the business and as you develop, your client portfolio will continue to grow, and naturally your position will move further into a blend of account management and business development.

Responsibilities:

Researching and qualifying potential clients to build a database of leads

Consult with C-level executives of medium-large businesses across a diverse range of sectors. Calling and thereafter face to face meetings will be your primary and preferred method of engaging opportunities.

You will learn your clients’ businesses and work to explore and uncover key problems and challenges, whilst educating them on how company solutions can solve them.

You will develop trusted relationships with your existing portfolio of clients to retain their business and grow your portfolio

Progression will be to ultimately deal independently for your portfolio of clients

Experience:

  • Previous FX sales/business development experience desirable, potentially this could be waived for an exceptional and hungry sales junior
  • Highly motivated with desire to achieve and build a long term career
  • Resilient and tenacious, you will have the ability to remain focused and motivated even during challenging sales cycles
  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels
  • Be motivated to learn and develop with the ability to work in a pressurised sales driven environment
