A corporate payments FinTech are searching for an individual to become the leader of their business development team.

As the Head of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth strategy and expand market presence within the corporate payments sector. You will lead a team of dynamic business development managers, guiding them to deliver tailored payment solutions (credit cards, debit cards for corporate expenses, open-banking services, and multi-currency accounts) to enterprise clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of business development managers to achieve ambitious sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate target markets and expand our client base.
  • Provide expert advisory to enterprise clients on our suite of payment solutions, including credit cards, debit cards for corporate expenses, open-banking services, and multi-currency accounts.
  • Drive solution selling by effectively communicating the value proposition of our products and services to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of strategies and seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers, to drive business growth and foster brand loyalty.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Implement robust performance tracking mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of business development efforts and identify areas for optimization.


  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating high-performing sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Extensive experience in the financial services sector, with a focus on corporate payments, FinTech, or related fields.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities with a track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies.
  • A client-centric mindset with the ability to understand and address the unique needs and challenges of enterprise clients.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions effectively.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
