We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate with a strong regulatory background to join one of the leading Magic Circle firms in their Paris office. Responsibilities:

As a Mid-Level Investment Funds Associate, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on the regulatory aspects of investment funds. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting legal research and analysis on investment fund regulations, both at a national and international level.
• Assisting in the regulatory aspects of investment funds, including drafting and reviewing relevant legal documents.
• Advising clients on compliance issues and regulatory developments impacting investment funds.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
• Assisting with due diligence reviews and regulatory filings.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with exceptional legal advice and support.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and changes in investment fund regulations.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• 2-6 years of post qualified experience in a highly regarded funds department.
• Admitted to the Paris bar with the right to practice law in France.
• Excellent academic credentials, including a stellar education from a reputable university or law school.
• Strong knowledge of investment fund regulations in France and internationally.
• Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to investment funds.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough legal research and provide accurate and insightful analysis.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
