Partner, Corporate M&A

A leading global (US) law firm are searching for a Partner to join their Corporate M&A Practice.

The team advise across multiple verticals, including public takeovers, private M&A, PE, and Equity Capital Markets, as well as general corporate/commercial issues including anti-trust. The team cover a broad range of industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships
• Own business development to attract new clients to the firm.
• Provide strategic advisory to clients
• Represents public and private companies in a variety of transactions and guide them on general corporate governance matters.
• Draft primary and ancillary acquisition transaction documents and mange the due diligence process for these M&A transactions, including drafting due diligence memorandums and analyzing target company agreements and documents.
• Instruct attorneys on due diligence projects.

Key Requirements

• 8y+ PQE experience in Corporate M&A
• Outstanding technical knowledge
• Experience leading public or private transactions and general corporate governance matters.
• Juris Doctor from a top US law firm
• Intellectual curiosity and versatility
• The ability to balance multiple deadlines
• Excellent client relationship and business development skills
