Privacy, Cybersecurity & Data Associate

A leading international law firm are seeking an Associate to join their Tier-1 Associate to join our Privacy, Cybersecurity and Data Innovation Practice Group.

Roles are available in LA, Orange County, San Francisco, Dallas and DC.

The Associate will report to the Practice Group Leaders and will be responsible for providing legal advice and services to clients in matters related to privacy, cybersecurity, data innovation and consumer protection.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and services to clients in matters related to privacy, cybersecurity, data innovation, and consumer protection
• Conduct research on legal issues related to privacy, cybersecurity, data innovation, and consumer protection
• Draft legal documents and other materials
• Analyze and interpret laws, regulations, and legal documents
• Collaborate with other members of the practice group in a fast-paced environment

The ideal candidate will have a JD degree from an accredited law school, 2-7 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity and data innovation matters with an elite law firm.

Associate should also have a strong knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as knowledge of European Union developments.

Associate should also have the ability to work independently and collaborate with other members of the practice group in a fast-paced environment.
