About the job

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Associate to join the Real Estate Division of a boutique law firm located in London.

The firm has around 100 lawyers, most of which are part of the firm’s highly ranked real-estate division.

The team represent corporate occupiers, comprising of multinational corporations, hotel owners, real-estate portfolio managers, family offices, high-net-worth individuals and overseas investors (primarily from the Middle East and Far East) on the acquisition and disposal of London real estate. The team also have expertise in large scale development matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, financing, and joint ventures
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and other real estate documents
  • Conducting due diligence and title reviews
  • Assisting in the management of real estate transactions from start to finish
  • Providing legal advice on property management issues, such as landlord and tenant disputes, property maintenance, and repairs
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Keeping up-to-date with legal developments and changes in the real estate industry
  • Collaborate with Lawyers from corporate, tax and sector focused practices.


Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer in England & Wales
  • Experience in real estate law, ideally gained at a top-tier law firm
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to explain complex legal issues in simple terms
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to working in a team-based environment
  • Experience in advising clients on high-value and complex transactions is preferred
  • Experience in the hospitality and leisure sector is an advantagd have a training contract offer will also be considered.
