Senior Associate, Pensions

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Pensions Associate to join an international law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on all aspects of pensions law, including scheme design, restructuring, and funding
• Drafting and negotiating a range of legal documents, including scheme documentation, and advising on regulatory compliance
• Advising clients on contentious pension matters, including disputes, regulatory investigations, and proceedings
• Conducting legal research and analysis, keeping up to date with changes in pensions law and regulation
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering high-quality client service
• Managing and mentoring junior team members as required

Requirements:

• Experience in pensions law, gained at a leading law firm
• Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Experience of advising on contentious pension matters, and a strong understanding of pensions law and regulation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic advice
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
• A strong academic record, including a law degree or equivalent
