Senior Compliance Manager

A global Real Estate Investment Management firm who continues to grow their AUM and global reach are looking for a Senior Compliance Manager to join their expanding team in Luxembourg.

As a senior compliance manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the compliance framework of the AIFM in accordance with regulation and ensuring processes, systems, and controls with the CSSF requirements are in place.

The role:

• Monitor regulatory developments and CSSF circulars
• Lead project groups for implementation of new regulations when necessary
• Maintain compliance registers and internal log + updating in accordance
• Review regulatory filings to authorities (including the CSSF)
• Work with other teams to ensure efficiency and adequacy of the risk based financial crime policies
• Complete regulatory reporting and annual reporting in accordance with the CSSF circular
• Review and assess compliance breaches
• Review and approve product marketing material

Requirements:

• Senior level experience in the compliance team of an AIFM
• Experience with risk management
• Knowledge of MIFID is an advantage
• Detailed knowledge of Luxembourg compliance requirements
• Good knowledge of AIFMD, financial crime related requirements and GDPR
• Good knowledge of real estate investment management
• Awareness + knowledge of other regulatory jurisdictions (Germany, US, UK)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
