Senior Credit Risk Analyst

A leading Energy Trading and Marketing team are searching for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join the team on a fixed term contract basis to develop risk reporting and control frameworks.

This role can be worked from the Manchester or London office (1-2 times working onsite per week)

As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst you will be:

• Implementing, reviewing and optimising credit risk processes
• Partaking in stress testing and scenario analysis
• Using data analytics to optimise modelling techniques
• Developing and operating credit risk strategy
• Preparing and producing credit risk analysis across counterparty credit application requests and portfolio analysis
• Carrying out credit risk activities in accordance to internal and external regulations
• Analysing credit portfolio to highlight key risks across potential future exposure, expected loss, mark to market metrics

Requirements:

• 1+ years in Credit Risk
• Experienced working with credit risk models (LGD, PD, EAD)
• Attention to detail and ability to work logically and strategically within a team to achieve the best outcomes
• Competent using data analytics tools such as Excel, Python, SQL
• Ability to communicate and translate between technical and business teams
