Established Commodity Trading Firm
We’re currently working with a leading commodity trading business in Geneva that is looking to hire a Senior Oil Trader to join an established trading team.
This is a genuine trading seat with the capital, infrastructure and autonomy to run risk and develop your own book.
The Role
- Trade across the oil complex, with a focus on physical and paper markets
- Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies
- Take ownership of risk, positions and PnL
- Identify opportunities across global oil flows, fundamentals and market structure
- Work closely with traders, analysts and commercial teams across the business
What they’re looking for
- Proven track record as an Oil Trader
- Strong PnL history and clear evidence of proprietary risk-taking
- Experience across crude and/or refined products
- Strong understanding of physical oil markets and global trade flows
- Existing market relationships and counterparties
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and act on opportunities independently
