A leading energy trading business is seeking a talented US Real-Time Proprietary Power Trader to join their dynamic team in Denmark. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable company with a strong presence in the global energy markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade real-time power markets in the US, leveraging market trends and proprietary strategies to maximize profitability.
- Monitor and analyze market conditions, grid operations, and system constraints to identify trading opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the analytics and quantitative teams to refine trading models and enhance strategy development.
- Manage risk effectively while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Provide insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of trading processes and tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years experience trading intraday power plus experience trading on the a real-time US power markets.
- Deep understanding of US power markets, including market rules, grid operations, and trading platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to perform under pressure and make quick decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
