A London-based energy trading team is looking for an analytics engineer who can turn complex data into reliable tools for traders and analysts. This is a practical role for someone who cares as much about whether a tool works in daily use as how it was built.
The Role
- Build and maintain data pipelines used in trading analysis.
- Improve the quality, accessibility and consistency of market data.
- Develop tools, datasets and reporting that support decisions.
- Investigate data issues and improve existing processes.
- Work directly with trading and analytical colleagues to understand their needs.
What we’re looking for
- Strong software, data engineering or analytics engineering experience.
- Confidence working with large or time-sensitive datasets.
- The ability to turn an ambiguous trading need into a dependable solution.
- Energy market knowledge would be an advantage.
