Energy Trading Business
We’re working with a London-based energy trading business seeking a systematic trader. The role is focused on finding repeatable market opportunities and building strategies that remain robust beyond the research environment.
The Role
- Research and develop systematic energy trading strategies.
- Build and test signals using market and fundamental data.
- Move viable strategies into live trading.
- Monitor performance, execution and risk.
- Refine models as markets and trading conditions change.
What we’re looking for
- A track record in systematic trading or quantitative strategy development.
- Experience in energy or closely related commodity markets.
- Strong programming, data analysis and statistical skills.
- Commercial judgement about whether a model is genuinely tradable.
