Proprietary Power Trading
We’re recruiting a senior trader to lead the development of an intraday proprietary power trading function. The role may be based in Dublin or London and calls for someone who can set direction, manage risk and remain close to trading performance.
The role:
- Set and develop the intraday proprietary trading strategy.
- Oversee trading performance, positions and risk.
- Identify opportunities to expand strategies and market coverage.
- Develop traders and strengthen how the desk uses data and technology.
- Work with senior stakeholders on priorities and investment needs.
What we’re looking for:
- A strong personal track record in European intraday power trading.
- Experience leading traders or taking substantial responsibility for a desk.
- Clear judgement around strategy, risk and capital allocation.
- The ability to build capability while remaining commercially accountable.
